Summary
Dr. Friesen was an engineer assigned to investigate Anubis' abandoned mothership which was on a course for Earth. He wanted to examine the engine controls, but Col. Jack O'Neill told him to wait on doing so. Dr. Friesen disobeyed Jack and ended up getting killed when he was jumped by some of Anubis' Ninja Jaffa who were still onboard. Dr. Friesen was introduced in the episode, 6.03 "Descent".
