==Stargate Atlantis==
''Stargate Atlantis'' is the spin-off series created by Robert C. Cooper and Brad Wright which follows the adventures of the Atlantis Expedition Team in the Pegasus Galaxy: Dr. Daniel Jackson discovered the destination of the Ancients who lived in the city-ship Atlantis on Earth millions of years ago. Dr. Elizabeth Weir led her expedition through the Stargate and was the leader of the Atlantis Outpost for about three years. Col. Samantha Carter became the new leader of the Atlantis Base following Dr. Weir's capture by the Asurans, the Pegasus Replicators, and served for one year. After the Asuran and Wraith threats were greatly reduced, Carter was recalled to Earth and was replaced by IOA representative Richard Woolsey.

Stargate SG-1

Stargate SG-1 is the television series created by Brad Wright and Jonathan Glassner to carry on the adventures of Col. Jack O'Neill and Dr. Daniel Jackson from the MGM movie Stargate: A year after opening the Stargate, Dr. Daniel Jackson and Col. Jack O'Neill find themselves in the middle of a galactic war against an alien species that takes humans as hosts and enslaves them. The flagship team operating out of Stargate Command, SG-1, is formed to seek alien allies and technology to win this war against the powerful Goa'uld, who have ruled the galaxy for thousands of years.

Season One - Deep inside Cheyenne Mountain in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the Stargate remained silent for a year following its reactivation by Dr. Daniel Jackson. That all changed when the Goa'uld System Lord Apophis and his patrol of Jaffa warriors came through the Stargate, killed several guards, and kidnapped a female Air Force officer. With Earth directly in the sights of the powerful alien race, Stargate Command had no choice but to reactivate the base and establish teams to seek alien allies and advanced technology to defend the planet. SG-1 was formed under the solid leadership of Col. Jack O'Neill.
