{"id":1081,"date":"2008-01-22T21:07:55","date_gmt":"2008-01-23T05:07:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/stargate-sg1-solutions.com\/blog\/?p=1081"},"modified":"2008-01-22T21:07:55","modified_gmt":"2008-01-23T05:07:55","slug":"extra-to-feature-sga-on-friday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stargate-sg1-solutions.com\/blog\/2008\/01\/extra-to-feature-sga-on-friday\/","title":{"rendered":"&quot;Extra!&quot; to Feature SGA on Friday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The television entertainment magazine <em>Extra!<\/em> will be showing a feature of <em>Stargate Atlantis<\/em> this Friday, January 25, according to an announcement made by executive producer and co-showrunner Joseph Mallozzi in his personal blog (<a href=\"http:\/\/josephmallozzi.wordpress.com\/2008\/01\/22\/january-22-2008-lulu-all-tatted-up\/\">January 22<\/a>). <em>Extra!<\/em> correspondent Jerry Penacoli not only filmed the segment, but he was also included as an extra in the episode <a href=\"\/wiki\/SGA_4.14_%22Harmony%22_Episode_Guide\">&#8220;Harmony&#8221;<\/a> that will be premiering that night on the SciFi Channel at 10pm Eastern.<\/p>\n<p>Penacoli has won multiple Emmy Awards and has been an <em>Extra!<\/em> correspondent since 2000. While visiting the location shoot for &#8220;Harmony&#8221;, Penacoli donned the Genii uniform, and Mallozzi wrote about his time as an extra, &#8220;They were just setting up the scene with special guest star and Extra correspondent Jerry Penacoli, a.k.a. Genii #3, a.k.a. Genii Jerry. Jerry was all smiles and laughs but the second Will yelled &#8220;Action!&#8221;, he was IN character &#8211; tensing up, quavering, and then hitting the dirt like Sir Lawrence Olivier as an after-sticked Julius Caesar. He even threw in a little finishing leg kick.
