Will the crew have to abandon Destiny due to the enemy's BLOCKADE? (MGM)<\/figcaption><\/figure>Tonight at the new time of 9 PM ET on Syfy<\/strong>—and later this week in Canada and Australia—is Stargate Universe<\/em> episode 2.19 “Blockade,”<\/a> written by Linda McGibney and directed by Andy Mikita.<\/p>\n

Executive producer Joe Mallozzi likes to tease his weblog readers about what’s going on in an episode without giving away too much<\/em>. He had quite a bit to say about this week’s episode: “Well, if we weren\u2019t low on ammo before we certainly will be after this episode. Great performances all around (as usual) but David Blue is especially good in this one. And the ending\u2026well, what happens to one character is heartrending \u2013 but such is life.”<\/p>\n

This doesn’t sound good at all for our Destiny<\/em> crew, who were on their way to reunite the Descendants of Novus with their relocated civilization. Because this is a Stargate episode, we’re guaranteed to see the crew encounter some kind of trouble—read enemy—along the way, and it sounds like one of our characters won’t get out of it so easily.<\/p>\n
