Ratings are in for the most recent three episodes of SG-1 and Atlantis; note that episodes 6 and 7 for both shows were up against US coverage of the Olympic Games. For episode 8, SG-1 clearly beat Atlantis in spite of SciFi’s annoying new ploy of going straight into Atlantis without showing the SG-1 credits, preview, or commercials, expressly for the purpose of trying to boost the ratings for the first few minutes of Atlantis. The real difference might be even greater.<\/p>\n
So far the ratings for Stargate SG-1 Season 8 are as follows:

\n30 July: 8.04 “Zero Hour” — 2.16
