Stargate<\/em> writer and producer Joseph Mallozzi dedicated an entry to his weblog yesterday that was meant to get the attention of “casting directors, producers, studio people, and network execs” as he recommended the hiring of some of the guest stars that have appeared in Stargate SG-1<\/em>, Stargate Atlantis<\/em>, and Stargate Universe<\/em>.<\/p>\n

He started off by explaining why he’s just got ten names right now, “Over the course of my ten years with the Stargate franchise, I\u2019ve had the pleasure to work with numerous talented individuals, many of them guest stars who impressed with their performance, professionalism, and gracious off-camera attitude. And so, today, I\u2019d like to make mention of a few of them here (and I stress \u201ca few of them\u201d because there are certainly more than many I could add to the list. But, for the purposes of today\u2019s entry, let\u2019s go with these ten individuals who a) left a lasting impression and b) I feel are really deserving of more recognition). All are gifted actors who would make a terrific addition to any cast. But be warned! Snap \u2019em up now because I have a feeling they\u2019ll only be available for so long.” <\/p>\n

No doubt, these names will be familiar with you as well, since several have indeed been “snapped up” for popular movies and television series.<\/p>\n
