The existence of the game was only <a href=\"http:\/\/www.stargateresistance.com\/news\/development\/interviews\/ChrisKlug091023.htm\">announced<\/a> on December 8, 2009, so this is an incredibly fast development, especially by comparison with the years of development on the not-yet-released <a href=\"http:\/\/www.stargateworlds.com\/\"><em>Stargate Worlds<\/em><\/a> game. It&#8217;s assumed <em>Stargate Resistance<\/em> is a less ambitious endeavor that will earn much-needed capital for continuation of <em>Stargate Worlds<\/em> development.<\/p>\n<p>From the website, the game is described as:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Stargate Resistance is a fast-paced and deadly 3rd person shooter for control of the entire galaxy!<\/p>\n<p>The arrogant System Lords believe they are the true masters of the universe, and have begun a savage campaign to dominate and enslave the known worlds.<\/p>\n<p>Stargate Command operatives are the first line of defense against this menace.
