Also included are a bunch of &#8220;Top Ten&#8221; lists that were quite thoughtfully compiled by author Melissa Perenson. We urge everyone to buy the magazine, but in the meantime, here are a few of the 15 (!) lists.<\/p>\n<h3>10 Sexiest Stargaters<\/h3>\n<p>1. <strong>Michael Shanks (Dr. Daniel Jackson).<\/strong> SGC&#8217;s resident archaelogist wears his emotions on the outside, exuding an atypical combination of warmth and strength.<\/p>\n<p>2. <strong>Richard Dean Anderson (Maj. Cameron Mitchell (sic)).<\/strong> SG-1&#8217;s newest flyboy is cool and confident, with a cocky sense of humor to match.<\/p>\n<p>5. <strong>Christopher Judge (Teal&#8217;c).<\/strong> Exactly what is the Jaffa workout regimen, again?<\/p>\n<p>6. <strong>Claudia Black (Vala Mal Doran).<\/strong> Feisty and cunning, this former Goa&#8217;uld host and all-around rogue looks great in skin-tight black.<\/p>\n<p>7. <strong>Vanessa Angel (Anise\/Freya).<\/strong> Seductive Tok&#8217;ra operative knows how to use her wile.<\/p>\n<p>8. <strong>Garwin Sanford (Narim).<\/strong> This Tollan ally has a rugged yet gentle quality.<\/p>\n<p>9. <strong>Cliff Simon (System Lord Ba&#8217;al).<\/strong> Goateed Goa&#8217;uld may be bad, but he&#8217;s got bad-boy appeal.<\/p>\n<p>10. <strong>Peter Flemming (Agent Malcolm Barrett).<\/strong> Not all men in black are generic operatives\u00e2\u20ac\u201dthis one stands out from the crowd.<\/p>\n<h3>Top 10 Episodes<\/h3>\n<p>1. <strong>&#8220;Reckoning, Part 2,&#8221;<\/strong> Season 8. After so many years, it is rare for a payoff to be rich and fulfilling. But &#8220;Reckoning&#8221; delivers in spades, with critical battles against the Tau&#8217;ri&#8217;s enemies.<\/p>\n<p>2. <strong>&#8220;Heroes, Part 2,&#8221;<\/strong> Season 7. Poignant and moving, this episode shows us a yet-unseen side to the SGC, when one of the series&#8217; staples\u00e2\u20ac\u201dDr. Janet Fraiser\u00e2\u20ac\u201ddies in the line of duty.<\/p>\n<p>3. <strong>&#8220;The Lost City, Part 2,&#8221;<\/strong> Season 7. O&#8217;Neill exercises the power of the Ancients from an outpost in Antarctica\u00e2\u20ac\u201dsaving Earth from Anubis&#8217; impending attack.<\/p>\n<p>4. <strong>&#8220;Window of Opportunity,&#8221;<\/strong> Season 4. One of the series&#8217; most humorous episodes\u00e2\u20ac\u201dand one of it most memorable.<\/p>\n<p>5. <strong>&#8220;The Fifth Race,&#8221;<\/strong> Season 2. This episode marks the first time the series explores the Ancients&#8217; Repository of Knowledge\u00e2\u20ac\u201dand the impact it has on O&#8217;Neill, who ends up absorbing it into his brain.<\/p>\n<p>6. <strong>&#8220;Within the Serpents&#8217; Grasp,&#8221;<\/strong> Season 1. In an attempt to thwart Apophis&#8217; attack on Earth, SG-1 defies orders and gates to an address\u00e2\u20ac\u201dwhich turns out to be on Apophis&#8217; ship.<\/p>\n<p>7. <strong>&#8220;Threads,&#8221;<\/strong> Season 8. Although Stargate has always distinguished itself through its attention to character development, this characters-centric episode is a departure for the series\u00e2\u20ac\u201dalbeit on that&#8217;s very satisfying for longtime viewers.<\/p>\n<p>8. <strong>&#8220;Full Circle,&#8221;<\/strong> Season 6. A pivotal episode in which, at the behest of the still-ascended Daniel, SG-1 tries to help the people of Abydos, and Anubis&#8217; true form is revealed.<\/p>\n<p>9. <strong>&#8220;The Devil You Know,&#8221;<\/strong> Season 3. Teal&#8217;c must rescue SG-1 and Jacob Carter\/Selmak from Sokar&#8217;s grasp; Apophis attempts to assume power, again.<\/p>\n<p>10. <strong>&#8220;Camelot,&#8221;<\/strong> Season 9.
