{"id":635,"date":"2006-08-09T09:25:42","date_gmt":"2006-08-09T17:25:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/stargate-sg1-solutions.com\/blog\/?p=635"},"modified":"2006-08-09T09:25:42","modified_gmt":"2006-08-09T17:25:42","slug":"ratings-slip-further","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stargate-sg1-solutions.com\/blog\/2006\/08\/ratings-slip-further\/","title":{"rendered":"Ratings Slip Further"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gateworld.net\/news\/2006\/08\/week4ratingsfalltoseasonlo.shtml\">Gateworld reports here<\/a> that the ratings for this past Friday&#8217;s episodes of <em>SG-1<\/em> and <em>Atlantis<\/em> were poor once again, with <em>SG-1<\/em> falling to a season low of 1.3 and <em>Atlantis<\/em> fairing not much better at 1.4.<\/p>\n<p>Whatever the reason for the slip, from the break-up of Sci Fi Friday to any number of other speculations, it seems it&#8217;s time for fans to do what they can to increase the ratings, or prepare for this season to be the end for both shows.  <\/p>\n<p>Joe Mallozzi hinted at Comic Con that the ratings need to be close to 2 for renewal, and the shows are missing that by more than 30%.
