When asked to give a <em>Battlestar<\/em> scoop, TV Guide&#8217;s Michael Ausiello had the following to say:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\nQuestion: Battlestar scoop?\u00e2\u20ac\u201d Sam <\/p>\n<p>Ausiello: Rumor has it that something big is brewing behind the scenes that could go a long way in boosting the show&#8217;s ailing Nielsen&#8217;s. It concerns the show&#8217;s time slot.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>SciFi&#8217;s most recent change in SciFi Friday&#8217;s line-up has been to re-introduce <em>Stargate SG-1<\/em> into the mix. Season Eight episodes, starting with &#8220;Lockdown&#8221;, will start showing between <em>Battlestar<\/em>&#8216;s new episode broadcasts at 10pm Eastern.<\/p>\n<p><em>Battlestar<\/em> still holds its 9pm timeslot in this new line-up, but speculation based on Ausiello&#8217;s scoop has led some fans to believe that SciFi will be moving the show to 10pm in the new year (this would return it to its old slot when the <em>Stargates<\/em> were part of the powerful SciFi Friday line-up last season). Only time will tell what SciFi&#8217;s plans actually entail.<\/p>\n<p>The new SciFi Friday line-up for this Friday, November 10, includes (all times Eastern):<\/p>\n<p>07:00 PM HEROES &#8211; NOTHING TO HIDE<br \/>\n08:00 PM DOCTOR WHO &#8211; THE IDIOT&#8217;S LANTERN<br \/>\n09:00 PM BATTLESTAR GALACTICA (SEASON 3) &#8211; A MEASURE OF SALVATION &#8211; PT 2<br \/>\n10:00 PM STARGATE SG-1 (SEASON 8 ) &#8211; LOCKDOWN<br \/>\n11:00 PM BATTLESTAR GALACTICA (SEASON 3) &#8211; A MEASURE OF SALVATION &#8211; PT 2<br \/>\n12:00 AM DOCTOR WHO &#8211; THE IDIOT&#8217;S LANTERN<br \/>\n01:00 AM SCI FI INVESTIGATES &#8211; SCI FI INVESTIGATES ROSWELL <\/p>\n<p>Additionally, older episodes of <em>Stargate SG-1<\/em> have returned to their 6pm timeslot weekdays.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tvguide.com\/News-Views\/Columnists\/Ask-Ausiello\/default.aspx\">TV Guide: Ask Ausiello<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.scifi.com\/schedulebot\">SciFi Channel&#8217;s Schedulebot<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.stargate-sg1-solutions.com\/forum\/index.php?action=calendar\">Solutions Forum Event Calendar (includes episode airings and conventions)<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Edited to add: Additional speculation as to the change in timeslot to which Ausiello alluded for <em>Battlestar Galactica<\/em> has emerged at SyFy Portal. The article indicates that some fans believe that SciFi will actually be moving the show to a different night, specifically Wednesday.
