{"id":8638,"date":"2010-04-13T07:54:15","date_gmt":"2010-04-13T15:54:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/stargate-sg1-solutions.com\/blog\/?p=8638"},"modified":"2010-04-13T11:54:42","modified_gmt":"2010-04-13T19:54:42","slug":"sgu-sanctuary-move-to-tuesdays-in-october","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stargate-sg1-solutions.com\/blog\/2010\/04\/sgu-sanctuary-move-to-tuesdays-in-october\/","title":{"rendered":"SGU, Sanctuary move to Tuesdays in October"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>According to <a href=http:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/LIFE\/usaedition\/2010-04-13-lline13_ST_U.htm?csp=34\">USA Today<\/a>, Syfy channel is moving the wrestling WWE Smackdown to Friday nights starting October 1.\u00a0 The series currently occupying Fridays, including <em>Stargate Universe<\/em>, <em>Caprica<\/em>, and SG-1 alumni&#8217;s <em>Sanctuary<\/em> will be shifted to Tuesday nights.  The wrestling show <em>NXT<\/em>, currently airing Tuesdays has been cancelled by Syfy, though the WWE is shopping it to other cable networks.<\/p>\n<p>Friday nights have been a &#8220;sci-fi&#8221; night since at least the days of the <em>X-Files<\/em> and host to several of SciFi\/Syfy&#8217;s hits such as <em>Farscape, Battlestar Galactica<\/em> and all three <em>Stargate<\/em> series.\u00a0 Will the move to Tuesday night be better for the shows because there are more available viewers?\u00a0 <em>Eureka<\/em> and the reality based <em>Ghost Hunters<\/em> have fared well midweek.
