Click on the image to read the movie's full synopsis from its promo info sheet<\/figcaption><\/figure>Just when we’re preparing to see David Hewlett<\/a> in movie theaters in Splice<\/em><\/a> this coming Friday, June 4, he’s popped up in another movie’s trailer! This time, it’s for The Whistleblower<\/em>, a story based on true events. Hewlett filmed in Romania for his part of Fred Murray (his character’s name according to IMDb<\/a>) back in October and November 2009.<\/p>\n

Hewlett tweeted about his appearance in the trailer<\/a>, and his tweet led us to \/Film<\/a>, which has not only the trailer embedded there, but also posters and a synopsis.<\/p>\n

The film doesn’t have a release date, but is expected to open late this year. IMDb’s description: “A drama based on the experiences of Kathryn Bolkovac, a Nebraska cop who served as a peacekeeper in post-war Bosnia and outed the U.N. for covering up a sex scandal.”<\/p>\n
