John Sheppard) talked enthusiastically about the upcoming <a href=\"\/wiki\/Stargate_Atlantis:_Season_Four\">Season Four<\/a> of <em>Stargate Atlantis<\/em> as he was visited on the set by <em>Starburst<\/em> magazine (issue #354, released August 2007) during the fiming of the episode &#8220;The Seer&#8221;. Not only did he reveal some of the plot points about episodes in the first half of the season, but he also talked about the changes in cast, including the loss of <a href=\"\/wiki\/Torri_Higginson\">Torri Higginson<\/a> (Dr. Elizabeth Weir) and <a href=\"\/wiki\/Paul_McGillion\">Paul McGillion<\/a> (Dr. Carson Beckett) and the addition of <a href=\"\/wiki\/Amanda_Tapping\">Amanda Tapping<\/a> (Col. Samantha Carter) and <a href=\"\/wiki\/Jewel_Staite\">Jewel Staite<\/a> (Dr. Jennifer Keller). He also raved about Sheppard&#8217;s new &#8220;difficult to get a handle on&#8221; sometimes adversary and sometimes ally Larrin of the Travelers, played by <a href=\"\/blog\/?p=781\">Jill Wagner<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Flanigan makes note of the significance of Season Four as it is the first without sister show <em>Stargate SG-1<\/em>. &#8220;I&#8217;d prefer to have <em>SG-1<\/em> around just because I think the fans like to have both shows together, but even without <em>SG-1<\/em> I think <em>Atlantis<\/em> will be fine.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>To read the full interview, get your copy of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.visimag.com\/starburst\/354_display.htm\"><em>Starburst<\/em><\/a>, issue #354, available since August 29.
