Stargate<\/em>‘s Lexa Doig<\/a> (Dr. Carolyn Lam) is filming a new movie for the Sci Fi Channel called Ba’al<\/em>. According to the Hollywood Reporter<\/a>, the movie stars Jeremy London (7th Heaven<\/em>) as “a rogue Smithsonian archaeologist, dying of cancer, who will stop at nothing to retrieve the ancient amulets of the storm god Ba’al, which could cure him or make him a god.”<\/p>\n

The film is being directed by Paul Ziller (who directed Doig’s husband and Stargate<\/em>‘s Dr. Daniel Jackson, Michael Shanks<\/a>, in Swarmed<\/em>, as well as the Stargate Atlantis<\/em> Season Three episode “The Real World”) and produced by CineTel Films. They are using Insight Film Studios in and around Vancouver (September 26 through October 22<\/a>) to make the film, which will be part of Sci Fi Channel’s Saturday night programming late next year.
