==Summary==

SG-10 was declared one of the "new SG units" in the Season Two episode, 2.02 "In The Line Of Duty", along with SG-11 and SG-12. It is possible that their first mission was stated in that episode as being one of the units to help find a planet to relocate the Nasyans. 

Most of SG-10's missions have been either as first contact or a combat force.  One of the earliest team missions ended with the loss of all members when the planet they gated to moved too close to a black hole.

==Seasons Two Through Five==

One of SG-10's first missions, if not the first mission, was under Col. O'Neill and SG-1's command (2.02 "In The Line Of Duty").  SG-1, SG-10, SG-11, and SG-12 were to coordinate and find a new homeworld for Nasyans displaced by a Goa'uld attack.  No mention was made of any individual team members at that time.

Maj. Henry "Hank" Boyd was the commanding officer of SG-10 when the team traveled to P3W-451 (2.15 "A Matter Of Time"). The planet was in a binary star system, as the team, consisting of Major Boyd, two men (one with the rank of Captain) and one woman explored it.  One of the suns went supernova and became a black hole. SG-10 ran as fast as they could to the Stargate and were successful at dialing home and sending their iris code, but because time was distorted by the gravitational effects of the black hole, the wormhole disengaged before only a few seconds passed from SG-10's perspective.  The SGC could not even recognize the IDC until they sped up the transmission. As part of their rescue protocol, the SGC redialed the planet to send a MALP.  The camera recorded images, red-shifted due to the time distortion.  From the SGC's camera view, they could see SG-10 and the black hole behind them.  The energy from the black hole kept the Stargate to remain open, resulting in a time distortion on Earth. Eventually they were able to divert the wormhole to another planet and shut down the Stargate, but SG-10 was lost to them.

==Seasons Six Through Nine==

During a mission to P2X-887, SG-3 lost contact with SG-1, and an al'kesh swept over the Stargate (8.04 "Zero Hour").  Gen. O'Neill ordered SG-10 and SG-12 to back up SG-3 as they attempted a search and rescue for the missing SG-1.  The teams came back without finding a trace of SG-1.  As it turned out, SG-1 had accidentally activated a ring transporter to a hidden lab and could not get back out for days.  SG-1 eventually escaped on their own and returned home.
