==Summary==

Tobay was one of the boys from Abydos who was trained by Daniel Jackson to watch the stargate and act as Abydos' first line of defense.

==Character Biography==

Tobay was one of Colonel Jack O'Neill's and Major Charles Kawalsky's "boys" who helped free the people of Abydos from Ra.  He grew to care for his friend Skaara's new brother-in-law, Dr. Daniel Jackson.  When it came time for Daniel to leave Abydos to find Skaara and Sha're after Apophis kidnapped them, Tobay was extremely saddened because he felt that good had come from the stargate when Daniel came into the Abydonians' lives.  Many years later, when Anubis attacked Abydos in search of the Eye of Ra, Tobay stated that he would fight in Daniel's name because the people of Abydos believed in Daniel almost like a god after he ascended.  He, like the other boys who grew up as the defenders of Abydos, knew that Daniel would do anything he could to protect his adopted family and homeworld. Tobay is assumed to be among the Ascended Beings, saved by Oma Desala, after Anubis destroyed Abydos and killed everyone in the blast.
