Orilla, the last colony of the Asgard is in grave danger from the Replicators.  Though their ship has been destroyed, Replicators are raining down on Orilla and overwhelming the Asgard.  While their prisoner Carter struggles to comprehend her presence in her ideal dreamworld of a life in Montana with lover Pete, Thor interfaces O'Neill with the 'Daniel Jackson' ship's computer to facilitate the building of another Ancient weapon capable of defeating the Replicators.  Carter pleads with Fifth that if he truly loves her as he claims to, he'll let her go.  Thor's destruction of the Replicators on Orilla's surface forces Fifth to take off, leaving Carter behind. At the SGC, Dr. Weir hands over command of the base to Brigadier General O'Neill, whose first act as C.O. is to promote Carter to Lt. Colonel.  On the Replicator ship, Fifth urges a humanoid Replicator to achieve concsiousness.  When it emerges, it has the face and form of Fifth's love, Samantha Carter.
