Orilla, the last colony of the Asgard is in grave danger from the Replicators. Though their ship has been destroyed, Replicators are raining down on Orilla and overwhelming the Asgard. While their prisoner Carter realises her ideal dreamworld of a life in Montana with lover Pete has been engineered by Fifth, who claims to love her, Thor interfaces O'Neill with the 'Daniel Jackson' ship's computer to facilitate the building of an Ancient weapon capable of defeating the Replicators. Thor's destruction of the Replicators on Orilla's surface forces Fifth to escape, leaving Carter behind. At the SGC, Dr. Weir hands over command of the base to Brigadier General O'Neill, whose first act as C.O. is to promote Carter to Lt. Colonel. On the Replicator ship, Fifth urges a new humanoid Replicator to achieve consciousness. When it emerges, it has the face and form of Fifth's love, Samantha Carter.
