Season 7 is picking up impressively in the UK, despite a new timeslot for the episodes [a switch from Wednesday's at 8pm to Monday's at 8pm]. Fallen premiered with 0.79, Homecoming followed that up with 0.76, and this week, Fragile Balance showed a jump to 0.90 million viewers, making it the 3rd most popular episode of the entire series, beaten only by the double-header of the season six finale double bill.

Channel Celebrates Its 11th Birthday With Emmy Wins and Top 10 Status: Scores Its BEST-EVER September, Third Quarter And Cable Broadcast Season
This September, SCI FI Channel turned eleven and has plenty to celebrate. Fresh off its Emmy win for best miniseries for Steven Spielberg Presents TAKEN, SCI FI ends the month with the Best September*, Best 3rd Quarter and Best Cable Season in the Channel's history.
September 2003
Extending its winning streak to 17 months of year-over-year ratings growth, SCI FI's September 2003 delivered a 1.0/792,000 HH/1,071,000 P2+ in Prime (M-Su 8P-11P). Compared to September 2002, the Channel grew in all directions household ratings (+11%), audience delivery (+14%) and P2+ (+7%). SCI FI ranked Top 10 among all basic cable networks for ratings and delivery among the following key demos: P25-54 (#8 ratings, #9 delivery), M25-54 (#7 ratings, #8 delivery), M18-49 (#8 ratings & delivery) and F25-54 (#10 ratings, #9 delivery). The Channel also broke the Top 10 in ratings among P18-49.
Third Quarter 2003
In addition to its stunning September performance, SCI FI closed out the 3Q03 with its best performance ever. With a Prime (M-Su 8P-11P) average rating of a 1.0 for the quarter, the Channel saw an 11% increase over 3Q02. The growth was experienced across both audience delivery (783,000HH, +11%) and total viewers (1,062,000 P2+, +2%). SCI FI also ended the quarter in the Top 10 among all basic cable networks among the following key demos for both ratings and delivery: P25-54 (#8 ratings & delivery), M25-54 (#7 ratings & delivery), M18-49 (#7 ratings & delivery) and F25-54 (#9 ratings, #8 delivery). Highlights from the quarter include:
Stargate SG-1 Monday Night Stack (Monday 7P-11P) delivered an average HH rating of 1.2 a 71% increase over the same time period in 3Q02.
Cable Broadcast Season (4Q02-3Q03)
For the Cable Broadcast Season (4Q02-3Q03), SCI FI delivered its best performance ever. With an average 1.0 HH rating in Prime (M-Su 8P-11P), the Channel delivered a whopping 25% increase over its performance last year (4Q01-3Q02). SCI FI's average audience also grew 36% (828,000HHs) over last season, drawing 29% more total viewers (1,159,000 P2+). Among the key demos for the season, SCI FI is up 18% among P25-54 and P18-49, and up 32% among P18-34. The Channel ends the season in the Top 10 of all basic cable networks for ratings and delivery of P2+ (#9 ratings, #10 delivery), P25-54 (#7 ratings & delivery), P18-49 (#8 ratings, #9 delivery), M25-54 (#5 ratings & delivery), M18-49 (#6 ratings & delivery), F25-54 (#7 ratings & delivery) and F18-49 (#8 ratings & delivery).

17 Jun 03The June 13 two-hour seventh-season premiere of the SCI FI Channel original series Stargate SG-1 beat its cable competition with a 1.9 household rating, the network reported. The show delivered more viewers (2.43 million) than any season premiere of any series in SCI FI history.

17 Jun 03The June 13 two-hour seventh-season premiere of the SCI FI Channel original series Stargate SG-1 beat its cable competition with a 1.9 household rating, the network reported. The show delivered more viewers (2.43 million) than any season premiere of any series in SCI FI history.
The premiere also brought in more viewers than any episode of Stargate SG-1 in its entire cable run to date, the network reported. The premiere was the most-watched June telecast in the history of SCI FI and outshone its basic-cable competition, coming in at number one for the day in both persons 18-49 (1.35) and persons 25-54 (1.55), the network reported.
