Conan Poster Movie Web is reporting that Jason Momoa‘s Conan movie will be released to theaters August 19, 2011!

The film is said to be a more accurate interpretation of the books written by Robert E. Howard. Different than the Arnold Schwarzenegger films from over twenty years ago, this Conan is also getting the 3D treatment to engage its audience more fully.

As Movie Web discusses, the film has not yet received a rating. Depending on how the final edit is executed and what audience the film is designed to reach, it will get either a PG-13 or R rating. Word is also out that a sequel is already being planned.
