Before Joining the Stargate Program
"I'm playing Chloe Armstrong, who is the daughter and aide of a U.S. Senator. I think it's safe to say that Chloe is definitely the most fish out of water. She's got a bit of a wild side to her despite her demur appearance. She's had a really privileged upbringing, so really hasn't to want for anything. You know, I don't think she's had to work as hard as a lot of other people to get to where she is. She doesn't have military, medical, or, you know, very little scientific training, so in the beginning, she feels useless. She's figuring out who she really is and I think she's starting to realize that the life she lived before was superficial in many ways and that she wants to make something of herself, to give back because she herself had been given so much." Icarus Base and Destiny
Stunning and sexy. Daughter of a U.S. Senator. Silver spoon upbringing and a little spoiled but not stupid either. Politically and socially savvy. Dreams of following in her father’s footsteps but for now she’s a bit of a party girl in her first year at an Ivy League school. Her father’s tragic death and the dire circumstances of being trapped on a spaceship seriously tests her character. (Character Breakdown)
Chloe Armstrong and her father, U.S. Senator Alan Armstrong, are part of a tour of the Icarus Base when it comes under attack. After becoming stranded on the Destiny, Chloe uses the Ancient Communications Stones to swap bodies with someone on Earth. She and Eli Wallace go to a bar where she hears her friends speak badly about her. Her heart is broken to learn that people were her "friends" only because she was the daughter of a U.S. Senator.
