Summary
Anatole Konstantinov was a cosmonaut from Russia and a member of the Russian Air Force. He was assigned to the International Space Station at the time that Anubis attacked earth and when the debris of Anubis' ship reached near to the ISS, Anubis transferred his essence (a form of energy) from there into Kostantinov's body. Kostantinov died about a week after returning to Earth, the cause of his death was due to Anubis' detrimental energy, but the doctors could only explain it as renel failure. Kostantinov's friend and fellow Air Force officer, Colonel Alexi Vaselov, became Anubis' next host in the episode, 8.03 "Lockdown".
