Summary
Emta was one of the female Jaffa warriors who rescued newborn girls from death by fire in a ritual established by the Goa'uld Moloc to control his Jaffa population, in the episode, 7.10 Birthright". When SG-1 offered this group of warriors, under the leadership of Ishta, to try tretonin as an alternative to raiding their male counterparts for their symbiotes for the girls who reached puberty, Emta was one of the first to step up and volunteer. Her body was able to accept the drug and she was able to prove to others that tretonin was a better way for her people to live.
