Summary
Ma'kar was a Jaffa of the Gomai Foothills who said that he was ready to join Teal'c in the rebellion against the Goa'uld and met with him on Chulak to rally the troops. However, he did not really support the rebellion, but instead steered Teal'c into a trap. Teal'c was captured by Rak'nor and put into the hands of the torturer Terok. No matter what they did to him, Teal'c would never declare the Goa'uld as gods. (4.13 "Serpent's Venom")
