Summary
Dr. Simms was the medical doctor assigned to Icarus Base. He was killed while trying to render aid during the attack on the Base that forced everyone to evacuate through the Stargate. Simms was among at least 12 who perished. Icarus Base was totally obliterated when the planet blew apart due to the surge in the power that was drawn from its core. (Stargate Universe: 1.01 "Air Part 1")
