Mid-Season Cliffhangers

Stargate SG-1 will be shown at its usual 9pm Eastern timeslot on Friday, September 22, with the airing of “The Quest (Part 1)” (spoilers), followed by Stargate Atlantis at 10pm Eastern with “The Return (Part 1)”. Both shows will end in mid-season cliffhangers which US viewers won’t see resolved until 2007 when the two shows return. Rumor has it that the final ten episodes of the season will not return until March, following the end of the 20-episode third season of Battlestar Galactica, which will premiere October 6 with a two-hour episode at 9pm Eastern.

  1. The US wont see these episode resolved untill sometime in 2007 does this include our neighbors in Canada ???

  2. Canada’s broadcast of S10 will start November 2 on SPACE. I’m not sure, but I think that they’ll be showing the entire season, all 20 episodes, without interruption. So, it is possible that they’ll see the complete season before the US will.

The same could be said of the UK, as well. They’ll start getting S10 on October 18.

  3. The following is true for Canada:
    1) SG-1 Season 10 starts Nov 2 on Space and will have little to no breaks (maybe 1-2 weeks over christmas – Space has a thing about breaking up series(ie they hate airing stuff with 4 month gaps))
    2) Movie Central (western Canada/BC,AB) will be airing SGA ep 3×11 on October 31st
    – The schedule does not list past ep 11 but you can assume it continues straight through
    3) TMN (eastern Canada/Ontario) is scheduled only to episode 8 at this time (which airs Oct 30) but based on past years Episode 11 should air before christmas possibly as early as mid november

  4. yay… for once Canadians get an advantage!! so many times, i’ve wanted to watch different shows/episodes/movies tthat play on sci-fi that are advertised on this site, but i can’t get.. so i am happy that i’ll be able to watch the rest of season 10 earlier..
