2005 Gemini Award Nominees Announced

20th Annual Gemini Awards: November 17, 18, & 19, 2005

Toronto, October 11, 2005: The Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television is pleased to announce the nominees for the 20th Annual Gemini Awards. Celebrating outstanding achievement in Canadian English language television, the Gemini Awards will be presented from the Metro Toronto Convention Centre and broadcast on Global Television, November 19th, 2005 beginning at 8:00pm.

“Celebrating its 20th anniversary, the Gemini Awards showcase Canada’s best television,” comments Maria Topalovich, President and CEO of the Academy. “This year we’re thrilled to be presiding over such an impressive display of immense talent, great programming and international hits.”
