Fans at the Vancouver Creation Con held this past weekend got treated to a new trailer for Brad Wright’s Stargate: Continuum, due for its release directly to DVD on July 29, 2008, in North America (Region 1). One of the fans has placed the screening on YouTube for you to enjoy, but be aware that the video and sound quality aren’t top-notch.
Twenty lucky fans were given a screening of the entire movie along with some of the actors, who were also seeing it for the first time, and producers in the Stargate franchise. Executive producer and co-showrunner for Atlantis Joseph Mallozzi was on hand to take some candid pictures, which you can see posted in his personal blog for April 6.
The fans who were given the chance to see the full movie have given quite favorable reactions thus far, but they’ve been sworn to secrecy, having had to sign non-disclosure agreements. They’ll have to suffer in silence as the rest of us anxiously await the official release this summer (below’s a countdown for us):
