Brad Wright’s Stargate: Continuum is due for its North American premiere July 29, 2008. TV Shows On DVD has recently published two articles concerning the movie’s release on both DVD and Blu-Ray, one of which features a possible cover art design (included herein).
The movie has a run-time length of 99 minutes, and both releases are to have the same features:
- Commentary with Executive Producer/Writer Brad Wright and Director Martin Wood
- Featurette: “The Making of Stargate: Continuum”
- Featurette: “Stargate Goes to The Arctic”
- Featurette: “The Layman’s Guide to Time Travel”
DVD Details: “The cost is confirmed to be $26.98 SRP, which is the same as the previous “DTV” release of Stargate – The Ark of Truth. Running time is 99 minutes for a Widescreen (1.78:1) feature with an English – Dolby Surround 5.1 soundtrack. Subtitles in English, French, & Spanish are also on board.” (TVShowsOnDVD)
Blu-Ray Details: “While the DVD edition runs $26.98 … , the Blu-ray Disc version will list for $39.98 SRP. … The high-definition Blu-ray release includes 1080p video in 1.78:1 widescreen, and an English 5.1 DTS HD Lossless Audio soundtrack. Amazon.com currently has the DVD available for pre-order at $16.99. The Blu-ray version doesn’t appear to be available from them at this time.
