There’s an entertaining report, complete with a photo gallery, from Joseph Dilworth Jr. of Pop Culture Zoo, about the “world premiere” screening of Brad Wright’s Stargate: Continuum at the USS Midway Aircraft Carrier Museum in San Diego to coincide with this year’s Comic Con. The film, shown on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier, was attended by Richard Dean Anderson, “Amanda Tapping, Christopher Judge, Ben Browder, Michael Shanks, Beau Bridges, Cliff Simon, Martin Wood, Brad Wright, Martin Gero, Jewel Staite, Robert Picardo, Lexa Doig and, from the upcoming Stargate Worlds” MMORPG, Dan Elggren.”
Dilworth does let a few spoilers slip about the movie, but the majority of his report includes brief chit-chats with Dan Elggren, Richard Dean Anderson, Brad Wright, Cliff Simon, Christopher Judge, and Ben Browder. He also reported that Anderson and Wright were allowed to play in a flight simulator with some interesting results.

Dilworth promises a complete review of the movie, about which he said, “By the way, this film really does deserve a big-scale premiere,” after the DVD and Blu-ray releases are available to the public on July 29 (in North America).
