With the titling of the finale, “Enemy at the Gate”, all of the episodes for Season Five of Stargate Atlantis now have individual episode guides in our Stargate Wiki. These guides are updated with new spoilers, tidbits from executive producer Joseph Mallozzi’s weblog, and interesting behind-the-scenes information gathered from interviews and blogs.
Although “Enemy at the Gate” is the twentieth episode of the season, it will be filmed nineteenth because the production wishes to end their principal photography on location in Las Vegas for Robert C. Cooper’s “Vegas”, the nineteenth episode of the season. It isn’t unusual for the production to film episodes out of order to accommodate actor or director availability or to film on location, such as is the case here.
The Sci Fi Channel will not be breaking the season up after the tenth episode airs. It should also be noted that the airing time will change for Atlantis starting October 10, when the show will be moved from its regular 10pm slot to the 9pm slot to become the lead-in show for Amanda Tapping’s Sanctuary, which premieres with a two-hour episode on October 3 at 9pm.
