Tonight will be the last new episode of Stargate Atlantis we’ll get in 2008! Carl Binder’s “Identity” premieres at 9 PM ET/PT on the Sci Fi Channel and then we’ll have to wait until January 2, 2009, for the next new episode.
“All I’m going to tell you,” script coordinator Alex Levine wrote in his scifi.com blog, “is that this episode borrows technology established in SG-1 to deliver a mind-switching episode with both disturbing and sometimes funny consequences.”
The episode includes the return of Dr. Carson Beckett (Paul McGillion) as he is called in to consult when Dr. Jennifer Keller’s odd behavior leads to the discovery that she has somehow switched minds with a thief named Neeva. Neeva takes advantage of her new situation in Keller’s body, and Keller’s not the only one to suffer the consequences.
Tune in tonight to discover what SG-1-introduced tech is used as a foundation for this mind-switching event and whether or not the knowledge and understanding of such technology can save Keller before she loses her … Neeva’s … head!
