Stargate star Beau Bridges is currently filming a role in the new independent thriller Columbus Circle, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The movie is about a “reclusive heiress Abigail (Selma Blair), who hasn’t left her upscale Manhattan apartment building in nearly two decades. She’s in contact with only two people: her building’s concierge, Klandermann (Kevin Pollak), with whom she communicates via notes, and Dr. Raymond Fontaine (Bridges), a longtime family friend and her sole confidant for most of her life.”
The article reports that principal photography has already started in Los Angeles.
Bridges’ summer is full with projects. Two of which we are aware are that he will be appearing on stage later this month (July 31-August 2) at the Hollywood Bowl in the production of Guys and Dolls (see our LJ Companion article about that) and that he is also scheduled to film another independent film, My Girlfriend’s Boyfriend, with Alyssa Milano.
