Tonight at 10 PM ET on Syfy—and later this week in Canada and Australia—is Stargate Universe episode 2.15 “Seizure,” written by Remi Aubuchon and directed by Helen Shaver.
This episode has been called the “Atlantis Crossover” because David Hewlett and Robert Picardo guest star as Dr. Rodney McKay and Richard Woolsey, respectively, but the city of Atlantis is not being highlighted in the story. Instead, the planet Langara is visited by McKay, Woolsey, and Col. David Telford as they negotiate to use the planet’s naquadria-powered Stargate to send supplies to Destiny. This planet’s name should sound familiar to SG-1’s Jonas Quinn/Corin Nemec fans, as this is the former team member’s home world. Executive producer Joseph Mallozzi stated that “there should be” a mention of what has become of Quinn after his world was overtaken by the Ori in the SG-1 episode 10.07 “Counterstrike.”

It’s a jam-packed episode that is sure to touch on much of the mythology of the entire franchise, including the newest storyline concerning Amanda Perry and Ginn, who are now part of the crew as avatars! After viewing, make sure to rejoin us here for our episode poll on the front page.
