Stargate Universe consulting producer Joseph Mallozzi gave his readers the title of the first part of the mid-season two-parter that he’s penning: “Space”. With this title, we now have the names of the first ten episodes of the first season, which consists of 20 episodes.
- 1.01 “Air Part 1” (written by Robert C. Cooper and Brad Wright; directed by Andy Mikita)
- 1.02 “Air Part 2” (same as above)
- 1.03 “Air Part 3” (same as above)
- 1.04 “Fire” (written by Brad Wright; directed by Peter DeLuise)
- 1.05 “Water” (written by Carl Binder)
- 1.06 “Earth” (written by Martin Gero)
- 1.07 “Time” (written by Robert C. Cooper)
- 1.08 “Life” (written by Carl Binder)
- 1.09 “Justice” (written by Alan McCullough; polished by Paul Mullie)
- 1.10 “Space Part 1” (written by Joseph Mallozzi)
When the writers began their first session for pitching and spinning story ideas back in November, Robert C. Cooper and Brad Wright already had the ideas in place for eight of the stories, so it’s possible that these series co-creators will be given “story by” credits.
As always, the names and order of these episodes are subject to change as they are in production. Visit the Stargate Universe Main Page in the Stargate Wiki for the latest updates.
The cast and crew are currently filming the opening three-parter “Air” and prep work has commenced for “Fire”. The Sci Fi Channel will be showing a teaser trailer for the new show during the series finale of Battlestar Galactica, which begins at 9 PM this Friday, March 20. The network has also advertised that a sneak peek is to be shown during the airing of Stargate: The Ark of Truth on Friday, March 27, and of Stargate: Continuum on Friday, April 3 (both movies start at 9 PM).
