Development by Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment of the Stargate Worlds Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (MMORPG) seems to be proceeding at a rapid pace. The company has created a sophisticated website with a large forum, has posted concept art, and has announced they’ve chosen the BigWorld Technology Suite as the platform for development and management of the game. Ironically, BigWorld is located in Australia, home of Perception, Ltd, the company that appears to have gone out of business after its aborted production of the Stargate: Alliance first-person video game. There is still no official word on the fate of that game.
