The Leo Awards were established in 1998 to celebrate excellence in British Columbia film and television. The Leo Awards 2007 Celebration and Gala Awards Ceremonies take place June 1 & 2 at the Westin Bayshore Vancouver.

The Leo Awards are a project of the Motion Picture Arts & Sciences Foundation of British Columbia, and produced by Troika Productions Inc. and Events One.

The actor nominated in the Best Supporting Performance by a Male in a Dramatic Series is Matthew Walker for his portrayal of Merlin in SG-1’s “The Quest Part 2”. Several Stargate alumni have been nominated in various categories for other projects — visit the Leo Awards website for more information.
