At the new official Stargate site is a video preview of Season 4. Joe Mallozzi and Paul Mullie talk about their aims for Season 4, including a larger focus on characters, some surprises with current villains, and a new race to contend with that may be friend or foe, the Travelers. The production is more relaxed this year with only 20 episodes instead of 40 to produce, so there is more time to focus on each episode. Cut into the interviews are images from episodes filmed so far, including a view of Carter’s new ‘do’, Sheppard and Teyla hugging, and Sheppard kissing a Traveler at the point of her gun.
Paul Mulllie reiterated that the ratings for Season 3, whose episodes they can do nothing about, will determine whether there is a Season 5.
