Summary
Lt. Barber was a member of SG-5 who was affected by the pleasure device on P4X-347. He committed suicide by jumping into the unstable vortex of the wormhole from the stargate in the SGC. The remaining members of SG-5 also died, but Dr. Daniel Jackson, who had been on the mission with the team, survived once the cause of the team's illness became evident, in the episode, 4.18 "The Light".
