Biography

Lou Diamond Phillips was born February 17, 1962, at the Subic Bay Naval Station, Philippines. His break-out role was as the late Ritchie Valens in La Bamba. Some of his most recent television work has been in the recurring role of Agent Ian Edgerton on Numb3rs and as the winner in the first season of NBC's I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! Phillips played in this game show for his selected charity, Art Has Heart Foundation.
