Tuesday, September 13	Tonight is opening night for ROBERT PICARDO in the stage production of Cabaret at UCLA’s Freud Playhouse. Picardo plays Herr Schultz. More information about the production, which will run until September 25, can be obtained from Broadway World.

• Here’s a follow-up to the Emmy Awards nomination for the SGU VFX team: Unfortunately, the award went to Boardwalk Empire. VFX Supervisor and team lead MARK SAVELA graciously tweeted, “Congrats, the work on the pilot is Amazing. Well Deserved.” Stargate veteran BEAU BRIDGES was nominated for “Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series,” but that award went to Paul McCrane for his guest appearance in Harry’s Law. Other winners may be found in this PDF file from the Emmys website.

• Stargate Actors at Hunter Syndrome Gala – AMANDA TAPPING, PAUL McGILLION, ELYSE LEVESQUE, PETER KELAMIS, JULIA BENSON, PETER DeLUISE, LOU DIAMOND PHILLIPS, and RYAN ROBBINS are among them.
