The SaveStargateSG1.com site, established by the owners of Solutions and Gateworld, is off to a lightening-quick start in marshalling forces, coordinating efforts, and letting The Powers That Be know we want more SG-1! From the site today (reprinted with permission):
The Save Stargate SG-1 campaign has been in full-swing for two weeks now and we wanted to share some first-round campaign milestones with you as we settle into the fight.
- This Save Stargate SG-1 website has had 62,818 unique visitors, who’ve stayed with the site long enough to read 188,425 campaign pages between them, and been responsible for 1,242,210 hits!
- There are 174 posts on the blog with 910 comments.
- 807 fans have joined the campaign activists HQ Yahoo mailing list.
- $3,982.42 have been raised through your generous donations to help us get the word out to fans and viewers through mailing letters and Google adwords. We’re close to half-way to our Variety advert goal.
- Through our email letter form here on the site, 650 letters have been mailed to SciFi and MGM by 35 mailing volunteers.
- Campaign news and site resources have been translated into 11 languages for international Stargate SG-1 fans by 26 translators.
- There are now 693 posts on the guestbook from US, Canada, British and international fans.

Add me to the list of emailers and snail mailers. Anything we might be able to do to help save SG1 or get it put on another network, I’m game! It’s the best show on TV in my opinion! Even my husband doesn’t make plans on Friday nights when the new SG1’s are on.
