Summary
Tevaris was the leader of the village of an unnamed planet. Daniel Jackson visited the village as a Prior to convert the population to the Ori. Tevaris and his people were intrigued by the Prior's promises of enlightenment. He described the encounter to SG-1, and was surprised when the team explained the Priors usually used threats to convert. They were shocked at this new "soft sell" approach and respected his right to make a decision about whether or not to follow Origin, offering to assist in whatever way they could if the village decided to resist. Tevaris hid them when the Prior came to visit, but expressed his willingness to learn more of Origin from the Prior.
