Summary
P2X-885 is a planet described by Col. Barnes as populated by 10,000 poverty stricken peasants with only one freshwater well. According to his subordinate, Lt. Fisher, it was an extremely hot planet: “130 degrees...in the shade.” Col. Mitchell’s contacts among the Sodan informed him that a Prior would be heading there, so SG-6 was sent to do some undercover reconnaissance. While there, Lt. Fisher was touched by the Prior, contracting a plague which he unwittingly carried back to Earth. P2X-885's population was converted to the Ori religion by the Prior.
