Rosha, host to Jolinar

Summary

Rosha was one of the human hosts of the Tok'ra symbiote, Jolinar of Malkshur.

Character Biography

It is not known how long Rosha was the host to Jolinar, but Jolinar had always preferred female hosts. Rosha/Jolinar were the mates of Martouf/Lantash for about 100 years, although it wasn't specified if Rosha was the only host throughout all of that time. A human who is host to a Tok'ra can reach to be well over 200 years old. (2.11 "The Tok'ra Part 1" and 2.12 "The Tok'ra Part 2")

Rosha was the host to Jolinar when they were imprisoned on Netu, a moon configured to be Hell by the Goa'uld System Lord Sokar, who impersonated Satan. She was one of very few who escaped, and she kept it secret as to how she accomplished such a feat. Rosha/Jolinar left Netu in a cargo ship after Rosha slept with the Lord of Netu, Bynarr, and took his access key to a ring transporter. She had endured horrible torture on Netu and rearly spoke of it. (3.12 "Jolinar's Memories Part 1" and 3.13 "The Devil You Know Part 2")

When Martouf/Lantash recruited SG-1 to go to Netu to rescue Jacob Carter/Selmak, he used a memory recall device on Maj. Samantha Carter, who was the last host of Jolinar, so that she could remember how Rosha/Jolinar escaped from Netu. Carter recalled memories of Jolinar as she was hosted in Rosha. When Apophis used the Blood of Sokar, a strong hallucinogen, in combination with the memory recall device to interrogate Martouf/Lantash, it was Rosha's image that he imagined. (3.12 "Jolinar's Memories Part 1" and 3.13 "The Devil You Know Part 2")

After the System Lords sent an Ashrak, a Goa'uld assassin, to track down and kill Rosha/Jolinar, Jolinar left Rosha and hid in a man of the planet Nasya. Jolinar took Carter as her final host when Carter was giving the Nasyan man mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. (2.02 "In The Line Of Duty")

It was never specified what happened to Rosha, but she is most likely dead.
