P4X-233 was a planet previously explored by the SGC.  A ring platform had been discovered there and studied thoroughly by SGC scientists.  After studying a ring platform on P5X-112, Dr. Coombs observed that its specifications of 12.9 metric tons were consistent with the ring platform found on P4X-233.  His colleague Dr. Meyers caustically responded that all the ring platforms that had been studied were identical.
