P3X-584
Summary
P3X-584 was the location of a secret lab of Anubis. Hiding within the woods and grassy areas around the planet was a ring platform that led to an underground chamber. There Anubis created a clone from a mixture of Anubis's own human host and Goa'uld DNA, and Ancient DNA. This clone, Khalek, was kept in suspended animation between manipulation treatments. Anubis kept the planet hidden by putting safeguard codes within the planet's Stargate. Any organic material, such as a person, attempting to go to P3X-584 had to transmit the right frequency code, or the matter passing through the wormhole would not be reintegrated, but effectively rerouted to a different planet. After Anubis's demise, the planet was explored and Khalek discovered by SG-1 and SG-5 in the episode 9.09 "Prototype."

Geopolitical Structure and History
The planet, at least the area near the Stargate, is temperate, with grassy fields and woodland. Anubis created a secret lab on P3X-584 in an underground cavern, only accessible by ring platform.
In this underground cavern, Anubis conducted experiments with a DNA manipulation machine. He artificially "grew" a human-Goa'uld hybrid embedded with his own and Ancient DNA, creating an artificial harsesis. Using a DNA manipulation machine and his knowledge of the Ancients, Anubis performed treatments on this clone, Khalek, developing more of his powers. After five treatments, Khalek possessed several superhuman abilities, including psychic awareness of others' thoughts and telekinesis. After eight treatments, his abilities would be so great, he likely would be able to ascend on his own. Anubis kept detailed records of his hok'taur (advanced human) experiments at his base, written in Ancient to keep the results coded.
Apparently, Anubis had been working at the base at least after Daniel confronted him during his time as an Ascended, because Khalek possessed at least some memories of Daniel's encounters with his "father" (6.22 "Full Circle"). However it is unclear how much time had passed since Anubis last visited the planet.
Several months after Anubis's final defeat, Lt. Col. Samantha Carter led SG-5 to P3X-584 in order to investigate a singularity in that region of space. However the team was unaware of the need for the frequency code. Though the MALP arrived on P3X-584, the team itself was rerouted to a different gate. Carter eventually discovered the safeguard and was able to bypass it. SG-1 and SG-5 arrived on the planet. Though the astronomical anomaly was a natural phenomenon, Dr. Jackson, Teal'c, and Col. Mitchell discovered the secret lab. Daniel started to study the Ancient notes, and Cameron accidentally opened Khalek's stasis chamber.
Khalek immediately went into convulsions upon being revived and was rushed to the SGC infirmary. Daniel remained on P3X-584 to study the Ancient notes. He discovered they were written by Anubis and what Khalek truly was and returned to the SGC to warn them Khalek was not the innocent victim he purported to be. Khalek was confined and placed under heavy guard, while Dainel and SG-5 returned to the planet to learn more. Mjr. Altman was able to remove the brain monitoring equipment and brought it to the SGC.
Daniel eventually discovered through Anubis's notes that Khalek only had five of the necessary eight treatments to ascend. Samantha Carter confirmed these findings. They headed back to the SGC. Before they returned, Daniel suggested they do something else first, and Sam adjusted the P3X-584 Stargate's failsafe. Anyone returning to the planet without her changed code would get rerouted to Earth's Stargate.
SG-1's sabotage efforts paid off when Khalek escaped from the SGC and tried to return to the planet. Khalek's reintegration information was held in the P3X-584 Stargate's memory and the gate redialed back to Earth. Khalek arrived back at the SGC, where he was killed by Daniel Jackson and Cameron Mitchell.
